The last four characters of the code of the subject can be found at the end of the second column [Tárgy neve (kód)].
Find your name in the third column [Név (NSzTK-kód)].
The last column [Írásbeli helye] contains the location/room of the written exam (if there is any), which starts at the time announced in NEPTUN.
The fourth column [Vizsgáztató neve, szóbeli vagy bemutatás helye, ideje] is about the name of examiner, room, date and time either for the oral examination or for viewing written test corrections.

Zoltán Bocskai successfully defended his PhD thesis

On 16th October 2015 Zoltán Bocskai, PhD student of our department successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled Biomechanical modelling of the eye (A szem biomechanika modellezése, in Hungarian). His advisor was Dr Imre Bojtár.

Dániel Merczel successfully defended his PhD thesis

On 23rd January 2015 Dániel Merczel, PhD student of our department successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled "Weak storey behaviour of concentrically braced steel frames subjected to seismic actions", prepared in collaboration of the INSA de Rennes and BME. His advisors were Dr Mohammed Hjiaj and Dr János Lógó.

Gergely Molnár successfully defended his PhD thesis

On 21st March 2014 Gergely Molnár, PhD student of our department successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled Multi-scale Modelling of Structural Glass (Szerkezeti üveg többszintű modellezése, in Hungarian). His advisor was Dr Imre Bojtár.

Gergely Szabó successfully defended his PhD thesis

On 18th March 2014 Gergely Szabó, part-time PhD student of our department successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled "Numerical and experim ental based aerodynamic stability study of bridge decks (Hídpályák kísérleti és numerikus alapú aerodinamikai stabilitásvizsgálata, in Hungarian)". His advisor was Dr József Györgyi.

Merit of Hungary award for Tibor Tarnai

On the occasion of the anniversary of the revolution of 1848, Tibor Tarnai, professor emeritus of our Department has been awarded the Middle Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary by the President of the Republic in honour of his outstanding international research work and educational activity.

András Bibó successfully defended his PhD thesis

On 12th April 2013 András Bibó, former PhD student of our department successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled Mechanical modelling of motor protein myosin II. His advisors were Dr Zsolt Gáspár and Dr György Károlyi.

Another awards at teacher's evaluation by students

Dr. Éva Lakatos (assistant professor) is ranked 1st in the Teachers' Evaluation by Students (fall semester, 2012/13) of non-leader teaching staff members of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Dr. Zsolt Hortobágyi (associate professor) is ranked 3th among leader teaching staff members at the same time.

Dr Brigitta Tóth received third best scores on Teachers' Evaluation by Students (OHV) for the fall semester of academic year 2012/2013. She received an average of 4.94 on a scale of 1 to 5.
